TRANSPORTATION OF CONTAINERIZED MOBILE UNITS The use of 20 feet/10 feet ISO standard dimensions containers equipped with ISO corners, allows the transportation of each unit by any means :
Air transportation Loading and unloading operated by embarked-wheeled jacks makes the system completely autonomous. Mobility capacities are validated following NATO procedures and tested in difficult landing conditions. Road transportation Mobility capacities have been officially tested. Validations have been obtained for road mobility under difficult conditions (bad tracks, sandy tracks, ...) For desert conditions, trucks are equipped with sand tires, protective grills, sand filters etc... |
