Worldwide Patented Expandable Container and Modular Systems
Once on site, the expandable containers double or triple in few minutes their internal workable volume and ground surface. In transport position, the expandable containers regain their ISO 20 feet standard dimensions. In working position, they allow for example, the side by side intervention of 2 surgical teams in an operating room. They can be dedicated to any function such as operating theater, pre-operating room, post-operating room, x-ray, ecography, CT scanner, high capacity storage pharmacy, but also for various logistic functions such as command posts.
Composition and Expansion of the Expandable Containers
The expandable containers consist of only few elements and they expand with a few, easy, simple moves.
Composition
The few elements of the expandable containers are locked together both
in transport and in working position. They are secured by a water/dust/air-sealing
system (can be NBC protected, E.M. compatible, etc….). Please refer

The panels are made of steel, GRP (Glass Reinforced Polyester) or aluminum according to customer requirements.
Structural Capabilities of the Patented Expandable Container
Rapidity, simplicity and safety use
The original patented design and features of this exceptional expandable containers provide the following structural capabilities:
- Rational Habitability and Regular Flat Surfaces for floor. For an ISO 20 feet 1C (8 feet high) expandable 2 volumes container, with an internal height of 2200 mm (2100 mm in the drawer section), there is an internal area of about 24,5m2 and an internal volume of 53m3. For an ISO 20 feet 1C (8 feet high) expandable 3 volumes container, the available surface is 35 m2 and the available volume is 73 m3.

Exceptional Internal Habitability:
Perfectly flat floor

Working areas both in the main and in the drawer sections.

No conflict between the doors (circulation area) and the working area
- High Rigidity on Flexion
High strength and resistance of the floors of the expanded containers, without spoiling internal habitability
Heavy equipment can be used by a large number of persons, even in the drawer sections, having an internal height of more than 2100 mm

- High Rigidity on Torsion
The container has the high torsion rigidity of a closed caisson, both in transport and in working position

No special frame to support the drawer
No leg under the drawer section for a rapid and simple operation even directly on truck level.
- Operational use either on the ground or directly at truck and trailer level, even without stabilizing leg

- Permanent Fitting of most of the Equipment
to the four walls, floor and ceiling of the container. Moreover, steel inserts embedded inside the panels make this fitting extremely safe and resistant

- Available Space to Transport Additional Equipment

- Permanent Efficiency of the Air-Sealing system. The system is under no mechanical stress either in the folded or expanded position.

- Good Thermal and Acoustic Insulation, due to a panel thickness of between 70 mm and 100 mm and the manufacturing design of the containers which avoids any thermal bridges.
